Five All Progressives Congress (APC) executives were kidnapped by armed bandits in Zamfara State, as the violence continues to escalate in the state. The kidnapping took place on Saturday, March 1, 2025, when the APC officials were traveling to Talata Mafara, a town in the state, to attend a meeting with important party leaders.

Security officials have confirmed the abduction, with intelligence reports stating that APC officials were ambushed by a heavily armed band of bandits in the remote regions of Zamfara State.
